Realme has reached 50 Million product sales, becomes the fastest smartphone brand to reach that milestone

As per some recent statistics regarding the sales of the smartphones manufacturers globally, there is a huge comeback of Realme in the third quarter of the year 2020. Xiaomi has managed to acquire the third position globally instead of Apple. Starting from the year, not many things have been by the side of those smartphone manufacturers. The main reason is obviously the COVID-19. That’s why at the first quarter of this year, like most of the smartphone companies, Realme has also faced some losses in the worldwide market. But they have made a big comeback in the third quarter of 2020.

Realme has acquired 7th position as per the Counterpoint Research report of 3Q2020. If we talk about the growth of this company, it is 132% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth and 45% year-on-year (YoY) growth. As per the recent report, Realme has reached 50 million of its product sales in the shortest period of time, which is a record itself. As per the recent data, this brand has completed the shipment of 14.8 million in the third quarter of 2020, which is a serious push-up to its success. Before this, Samsung had taken 10 quarters to reach this milestone and now the Realme has broken the record and completed it within 9 months. As per the other companies, Xiaomi and Vivo took 12 quarters, Apple took 13, and Huawei took 14 Qs.

As per the Counterpoint, this success of Realme represents, “the strongest growth momentum among major global OEMs”.

Research Analyst Abhilash Kumar also said, “Realme grew to become one of the top 5, or even top 3, brands in its key markets, including India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Philippines, and some other Southeast Asian countries”

Realme’s slogan “Dare to leap” definitely justifies this kind of performance by the company. Another big reason for this kind of success is that Realme has a comparatively bigger market in South-east Asian countries, such as the Philippines, Indonesia, and especially India. For a various range of pocket-friendly products and with the help of a huge population in India, this company has achieved the impossible. In those countries, the OEM becomes the third and fifth in their respective smartphone markets.
