Apple’s recent AnTuTu benchmark results showed the company’s A14 Bionic fell short against Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. Following this reveal, Samsung has released its benchmark score’s online of its Exynos 1000 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 875.

However, it is worth noting that AnTuTu used OpenGL to graphics tests on Android and Metal to do on Apple devices. This cannot be considered as a direct comparison of scores between the chips of the two companies.

Some online reports have surfaced claiming to have encountered the Geekbench score of the chips.

Reports claim that Exynos 1000 nets a single-core score of 1302 and a multi-core score of 4250. While the Snapdragon 875 score 1159 for its single-core and multi-core score is 4090.

Whether these results are legitimate or not is yet to be confirmed. Well, we have to take what we get for now. However, Samsung has improved a lot after giving on its ambition of only incorporating its in-house CPU.

Samsung’s latest devices are powered by Exynos 990 as well as Snapdragon 865. The Snapdragon 865 is also a 7nm SoC and features one prime ARM Cortex-A77 core, along with three high-performance Cortex-A77 and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.

On top of this, both the Exynos 1000 and Snapdragon 875 will both be made using Samsung’s 5nm process.

Samsungs upcoming flagships will out-perform Apples iPhone 11 Pro

  • via TechNave

To make things straight Apple A13 Bionic which powers iPhone 11 Pro is the best performing SoC in the market. There is hardly any processor that matches Apple’s Silicon in performance.

The processor sits on top of the Geekbench charts with a single-core score of 1327 and a multi-core score of 3369.

If the leaked benchmark numbers are correct. Then Exynos 1000 will be one of the few chips in the market which can match Apple’s silicon in performance.

It would be interesting to see how actually Exynos 1000 will fare against Apple’s A14 Bionic. Both Exynos 1000 and Snapdragon 875, will hit the market in 2021, only time will tell the results of the SoC battle between the two tech giants.
