Oppo is set to bring its sub brand RealMe that primarily focuses on mid-ranged smartphone…

Well why? Because Oppo has lost 5% share in Indian smartphone market this year. Whereas Xiaomi has got a massive growth which makes them hold 31% of the smartphone share in India…

This massive growth is mostly because Xiaomi has taken primary focus on bringing quality smartphones at cheaper prices…They have decreased their margin a lot so that they don’t face customer disinterest…

Why RealMe?

RealMe is the name the Oppo gives to its sub-brand. They have tied up with Amazon to launch the first smartphone of the series called the RealMe 1

RealMe 1 has got a tagline of “Power Meets Style” that suggests that Oppo is trying to focus for the youth…

With RealMe, Oppo is redefining style with power and quality. The brand is directly challenging Redmi, who is well known to bring powerful phones with good price and effective camera.
