Nostalgia alert: three idols who defined a decade of K-pop are sharing one stage again. tvN’s beloved variety show “Amazing Saturday” just dropped a preview for its “Back to the 2010s” special, and the guest lineup alone is enough to send longtime fans into a frenzy.
Sunmi kicks things off proving she doesn’t need backup — host Boom promises fellow cast members will help promote her comeback track, but she ends up nailing most of the lyrics herself during the show’s signature guessing game.
Then there’s Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Young, who turns the episode into a full promo campaign for her upcoming musical, “Yumi’s Cells.” She’s so committed she becomes the first-ever guest to hand out pamphlets to the cast, prompting bandmate Taeyeon to joke she’s “here on a mission today.” The two even revive TaeTiSeo’s classic hit “Twinkle” on the dance floor, with Block B’s P.O comically filling in for Seohyun.
Finally, VIXX’s Leo — Tiffany’s co-star in the “Yumi’s Cells” musical — steals hearts with pure introvert energy, visibly nervous throughout and even fumbling a food-tasting moment with fellow cast member Moon Se Yoon.
