Sometimes the best chemistry shows up before a single episode even airs. A new behind-the-scenes video from 100 Days of Deception captures leads Kim You Jung and Park Jinyoung sharing playful, easygoing energy during their poster shoot, and it’s already generating buzz ahead of the drama’s October premiere.

What the Video Shows?

100 Days of Deception is a period spy romance set during the Japanese occupation of Korea, directed by Yoo In Shik, known for helming hits like Extraordinary Attorney Woo and the Dr. Romantic series. The newly released making-of clip captures sweet, candid moments from the poster filming process, starting with Park Jinyoung gently brushing dust off Kim You Jung’s outfit before shooting began.

Throughout the shoot, the pair’s playful dynamic shines through. When discussing overly bright lighting, Park Jinyoung jokingly gestures that Kim You Jung simply outshines it herself. In another moment, Kim You Jung breaks into laughter as Park Jinyoung positions his hand near her chin, with him admitting it was his first time doing that kind of pose. By the end of the shoot, the two are comfortable enough to suggest swapping positions entirely, further impressing the crew with their natural rapport.
