England’s star bowler Stuart Broad achieved a new height in the first Test series against South Africa. On the second day of the Test, he became the fourth bowler in the history of the format to have 100+ scalps in a single ground. He achieved this three-figure mark feat at the Lord’s and became the second bowler after James Anderson to achieve this.
Stuart Broad reached this feat after he picked South Africa’s wicketkeeper-batter Kyle Verrynne’s wicket in the 63rdover of the innings. It’s reported that Broad’s teammate Anderson congratulated the cricketer first when he achieved this feat.

Rangana Hearth from Sri Lanka has picked 102 wickets in Galle too. Anderson had 117 scalps in 27 matches in Lord’s. Stuart Broad made his England Test debut in 2007 against Sri Lanka and has taken a total of 553 wickets in the Test format.
