Here’s your compact guide to everything dropping this week.

1. Muthassi — ZEE5 | July 3
Directed by Nandulal MS, this horror mystery is set in a secluded Tulu village on the Kerala–Karnataka border. Veteran legend KPAC Leela plays a devoted mother whose life unravels when her husband returns to their ancestral home and her son begins exhibiting deeply unsettling behaviour. Long-buried family secrets come to light in what promises to be an atmospheric and emotionally layered watch. Akhila Bhargavan and Orhan Hyder round out a strong cast.
2. Super Subbu (Malayalam Dub) — Netflix | July 2
Sundeep Kishan and Mithila Palkar lead this heartwarming comedy about Subbu, a well-meaning public awareness officer posted in the eccentric fictional village of Maakipur. Think good intentions colliding with absurd village politics — the result is a laugh-out-loud ride that also has genuine warmth. With Brahmanandam in the mix, expect the comedy quotient to go through the roof.
3. Isakapatnam (Malayalam Dub) — Prime Video | July 2
An action thriller with real bite. Samuthirakani plays Naidu, a ruthless kingpin, while Aishwarya Rajesh brings fire as his fiercely independent daughter who rebels against his criminal empire. Directed by Garry BH, the story weaves together a father-daughter power struggle with a violent syndicate war — and a young idealistic cop caught in the middle. Gripping and intense.
4. Mollywood Times — JioHotstar / Simply South | July 3
This one’s for every dreamer who ever wanted to make it in the film world. Naslen plays Vineeth Madhavan, an aspiring horror filmmaker from Kuttikkanam inspired by M. Night Shyamalan, navigating creative clashes and industry realities on his way to directing his first feature. Directed by Abhinav Sunder Nayak, the cast also includes Vineeth Sreenivasan, Sharaf U Dheen, and a cameo from Basil Joseph — which already makes it appointment viewing.
