Yash’s Telugu Debut? Dil Raju Just Confirmed A Collaboration Is Actually On The Cards

While the world waits for “Toxic” to hit screens, a bigger question just got answered at its own pre-release event. Could Yash’s first Telugu film be coming — with one of the industry’s biggest producers backing it?

What Dil Raju Actually Said

At the “Toxic” pre-release event in Hyderabad, producer Dil Raju was directly asked whether he’d ever produce a Telugu film with Yash. His answer: a collaboration between them is genuinely on the cards, and he’s excited about the potential project. The one catch — he admitted he isn’t sure when it’ll happen, citing Yash’s packed schedule, but confirmed both sides intend to work together once the timing lines up.

Yash’ Key Details

What “Toxic” Is About

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film casts Yash as Raya, a wild and unpredictable man chasing power at any cost, whose growing influence and cruelty eventually collide with his biggest threat — his own son, Ticket. The cast includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth, with action choreography from JJ Perry and the Anbariv duo. Originally slated for March 2026, the film was pushed twice before landing its August 26 release to secure a stronger worldwide window.

Why This Matters

Yash hasn’t done a Telugu film to date, so any confirmation — even a loosely timed one — carries real weight for South Indian cinema watchers. Pairing him with Dil Raju, one of Tollywood’s most consistent producers, signals a serious, well-backed effort rather than casual industry talk. With “Toxic” about to release and “Ramayana” already locked in for the next two Diwalis, though, fans may be waiting a while before this one actually goes on floors.
