Nowadays, most smartphone users are demanding smartphones with larger displays, that’s why many manufacturers came up with water drop-notch or hole-punch shaped cutouts to hold the selfie camera to provide a larger screen. Now, Xiaomi has been working on a smartphone, that will be featuring a dual selfie camera that pops out at an angle and looks more like an antenna. There will be two separate pop-up modules with two camera lenses for each – one will be for front-facing and the other for the back.
The pop-up selfie camera is not a new technology in the smartphone family, but this pop-up module in this upcoming phone looks different as it can click photos on the front and backside together. It is an angled pop-up camera that gives you the flexibility to take selfies accordingly.

According to an article of ‘letsGoDigital’, this upcoming smartphone by Xiaomi is going to launch with a flat full-screen display with very narrow edges. The entire front consists of a screen surface, a selfie camera that is not visible at first glance and there is no camera visible on the backside. These dual cameras come out of the smartphone via a pop-up system that lets you click photos both ways.
The camera of this phone is designed with two camera lenses that are placed on both the front and back of the pop-up system. So the phone has a total of 4 cameras, 2 lenses for selfie purpose and the other 2 are directed backward, in order to function as the main camera and there will be an LED flash at the top of the backside. When the pop-up system comes out of the top of the phone, the LED flash will fall exactly between the two lenses, what a level of designing!
According to the leaked images of this phone, the entire back has a sleek design, the right side of this phone has three buttons including volume buttons and the power button. The microphone can be found at the top, to the right of the pop-up system. Beneath this phone there lies a USB Type-C port along with a dual speakers.
