Xiaomi opened its 10,000th Mi Home store in China this week, as confirmed by Redmi vice president and brand head Liu Weibing. Xiaomi’s first store opened in September 2019 and the 1,000th store became a reality in January 2020. Interestingly, the company’s 5,000th store opened in April this year.
Xiaomi Mi Home store number 10,000 has a distinctive architectural design that stands out in every sense. It is located in Shenzhen and covers an area of over 600 square meters. It is worth noting that Xiaomi has copied Samsung’s famous curved screen located on the facade of the famous COEX mall in Seoul. This screen allows you to create a stereo image effect.
As an inaugural offer, Xiaomi will be giving the first 1,000 buyers at the new store the chance to pay an additional 1 yuan and get the Redmi Buds 3 alongside their purchases, reports GizmoChina.
Xiaomi is doing well in all segments globally, The recently unlocked achievement milestone includes 240 million sales figure for the Redmi Note series smartphones. This figure was 140 million in November last year and 100 million in October of 2019. In the last five months Xiaomi claims that it has managed to sell 40 million units, which means 8 million a month-on-month average. Xiaomi’s Redmi wing’s General Manager, Lu Weibing, announced during launch of the Redmi Note 11 series.
The Chinese company has launched the all-new Redmi Note 11 series which includes the standard Redmi Note 11, the Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro+. All of these phones belong to the mid-range segment. Both the Pro models pack almost identical hardware under the hood, apart from battery and fast charging support.
