Back in December 2019, Xiaomi launched its smart speaker called XiaoAI Touchscreen speaker Pro 8. The smart speaker, with a large touch screen, is able to do much more than normal speakers. Coming to it later. The main disadvantage of this amazing speaker is you need to plug it in a socket first. So, out of your home, it becomes useless. Even in the home sometimes you can’t even place it as per your choice. That’s only because of the absence of a socket. As a solution, Xiaomi introduces a Charging Base for it.
The Charging Base made the XiaoAI Touchscreen Speaker Pro 8 portable, at least for a limited time period. The base actually acts as a power bank. It can be connected at the bottom of the speaker via a power cable.
The Base is containing a large 10,000 mAh lithium cell battery. At the bottom, there are five LEDs to indicate the charge remains. When finished, you can obviously charge it again. It can power the speaker, setting at 50% volume and full brightness, for 5 hours long. If you use the Speaker Pro 8 only as a speaker at 50% volume, in that case, it can run for 12 hours with the Charging Base.
About the Speaker –
For those who are unaware of this smart speaker, it comes with three base booster units having 50.8 mm speakers. All are professionally tuned by DTS and capable of providing high output. Other than the audio output thing, it can also be used as a hub to control smart households. The touch screen and camera helps it to interact with you. You can also manage calls from it.
After connecting the smart speaker with the charging base, you need to enable the charging by pressing a button, dedicated to the side.
