XElectron PocketBeam: A Smart Projector Under ₹10,000 with Built-in Battery

At ₹9,990, XElectron PocketBeam Portable Smart Projector is making a strong case for itself in a segment that’s typically either too expensive or too underpowered to bother with. Launched on March 30, 2026, PocketBeam is available now on Amazon India and XElectron‘s official website, and it comes packed with features that most pocket projectors at this price point simply don’t offer — including a built-in battery, Android 13, and direct OTT app access.

What Makes It Worth Considering

The built-in 3,200mAh battery is the headline feature — it delivers over two hours of playback without needing to be plugged in, which genuinely opens up the projector for outdoor use, travel, and impromptu setups in rooms without convenient power access. That’s rare at this price tier. The 6,000-lumen brightness rating is aggressive for a pocket unit, and combined with the Auto Keystone Correction and Remote Focus (no crawling to the lens to manually adjust), setup is genuinely simple.

Running Android 13 natively means Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube work right out of the box — no dongles, no sideloading. For users who want to mirror from their phone instead, Miracast covers Android and AirPlay handles iOS, with Bluetooth 5.0 available for pairing an external soundbar if the inbuilt speaker isn’t enough.

Scaling up to a 150-inch projection size, the 40,000-hour LED life, and a weight of just 0.6 kg round out a spec sheet that India’s growing portable projector market will find hard to ignore at this price. XElectron, founded in 2011, has spent 14 years building affordable consumer tech tailored for Indian lifestyles — and PocketBeam feels like one of their most complete products yet.
