Xdinary Heroes Pulls Out of Summer Sonic 2026 Just One Day Before the Show

In a sudden turn of events, Xdinary Heroes has officially withdrawn from “Summer Sonic 2026,” Japan’s major music festival, less than 24 hours before their scheduled Tokyo performance — and the timing points directly to a bigger shakeup within the group.

What Happened with Xdinary ?

On August 13, 2026, Summer Sonic organizers confirmed via social media that Xdinary Heroes’ agency had formally requested their withdrawal from all festival performances. The statement noted the request came directly from the artist’s agency, with organizers apologizing to fans who were anticipating the shows and confirming there would be no replacement act.

The Real Reason Behind the Cancellation

The withdrawal comes just hours after JYP Entertainment confirmed that Gun-il, the group’s leader and drummer, would be leaving Xdinary Heroes entirely. The timing makes it clear the festival cancellation is a direct consequence of this internal restructuring, rather than a scheduling or logistics issue.
