Key Battles to Watch

Phoebe Litchfield’s Fiery Form
Australia’s Phoebe Litchfield has been UP Warriorz’s standout performer, accumulating 98 runs at a strike rate of 192.15 with 11 boundaries and six maximums. Her explosive batting could set the tone against a vulnerable DC bowling attack.

Nandani Sharma’s Historic Rise
Delhi’s young sensation Nandani Sharma has taken seven wickets at 8.42 in just two games, including a five-wicket haul and hat-trick against Gujarat Giants. The 24-year-old medium pacer from Chandigarh is shouldering DC’s bowling responsibilities brilliantly.

Meg Lanning’s Milestone Watch
The Australian legend needs just four runs to become the second player to reach 1,000 WPL runs, adding extra motivation for the UP Warriorz captain.

Pitch Report & Conditions

The DY Patil Stadium has witnessed high-scoring encounters with the 200-run mark breached twice in five first innings. Batters will enjoy the true bounce and quick outfield, while bowlers need early breakthroughs to control the damage. Dew conditions favor teams batting second, making the toss crucial.

What’s at Stake?

With only eight league games, both teams desperately need this win, as a third consecutive defeat would severely dent their playoff hopes. UP Warriorz sits bottom with a net run rate of -2.443, while DC’s overseas trio—Lee, Wolvaardt, and Henry—must deliver collectively.
