If you’ve been craving something warm, gentle, and genuinely feel-good, Korean entertainment is about to deliver exactly that. Bonjour Bakery, an upcoming baking variety show set in a peaceful rural village, has just dropped its first group poster — and the concept alone is enough to make you want to tune in immediately.

What Is Bonjour Bakery About?

Set in a tranquil countryside village, Bonjour Bakery centres on Korea’s very first senior-exclusive French dessert café, where everything on the menu is crafted using fresh local ingredients. There’s even a sign at the entrance that reads: “Only guests aged 65 and older are allowed.” It’s a concept rooted in genuine warmth — a space designed to offer elderly visitors something sweet, meaningful, and deeply comforting.

Bonjour Bakery Cast & Their Roles

Cast Member	Role in the Café
Kim Hee Ae	Elegant general manager leading front-of-house
Kim Seon Ho	Warm barista — the café’s “favourite grandson”
Cha Seung Won	First-time baker in the kitchen team
Lee Ki Taek	Energetic youngest member alongside Cha Seung Won

The pairing of Cha Seung Won — stepping into baking for the very first time — with the passionate and lively Lee Ki Taek in the kitchen promises both refined desserts and plenty of entertaining chaos behind the counter. Meanwhile, Kim Hee Ae brings her signature elegance to the floor, and Kim Seon Ho is set to charm every senior guest who walks through that green door.

In the first group poster, all four stand together radiating the kind of easy, familiar warmth that feels less like a cast lineup and more like a family you actually want to spend time with.

Why This Show Will Hit Different

There’s something quietly radical about a variety show built entirely around serving Korea’s elderly community. As French desserts meet rural life stories, Bonjour Bakery promises the kind of unscripted, human moments that no drama can manufacture. Think heartfelt conversations over croissants, laughter in a flour-dusted kitchen, and the simple dignity of making someone feel truly seen and celebrated.
