When the Guard Drops: Park You Na Falls for a Star in Oh My Guard

She’s confident on stage, fearless on set, and completely disarmed by one man. The first stills of Park You Na as Song Na Ri in Oh My Guard have arrived, and K-drama fans have a new love triangle to watch.

What Is Oh My Guard About?

It’s a romance about Uhm Tae Bong, an A-list actor with a fatal flaw, played by CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa. He meets Oh Hae Ra (Hong Seung Hee), a mysterious woman who believes she is Cha Hong Doo, the female lead of his drama. The story is unpredictable from the first episode.

Meet Song Na Ri

Park You Na plays Song Na Ri, an actress and girl group member. She rose to stardom on glamorous looks and confident charm, but she wants to be recognized for her acting. She rehearses so hard that she wears out her scripts.

After several projects with romance specialist Uhm Tae Bong, she starts developing feelings for him. He notices her sincerity and dedication, and that is what draws her in.

What the Stills Reveal?

The first stills show two sides of Song Na Ri. In one, she has a bright smile and a confident gaze. In the other, her brows are furrowed and a hand is pressed to her heart, hinting at emotions she can’t control.

She is self-assured everywhere except around Uhm Tae Bong, and that contrast is the heart of the romance. It’s a bit like a star athlete who stays calm under pressure until one moment shakes them. If you enjoy that kind of storyline, TechnoSports has more entertainment and sports stories.
