Saturday night, July 26, turned into a ratings showdown, with three Korean dramas simultaneously setting new personal records. From a rising fantasy rom-com to a gripping thriller in its final stretch, here’s a quick breakdown of who topped their own charts — and why.

K-Dramas Ratings Snapshot

Drama	Network	Episode	Rating
Spooky in Love	tvN	Episode 4	5.8% (new high)
The Husband	KBS 2TV	Latest episode	7.3% (all-time high)
Love on the Menu	KBS 2TV	Episode 2	13.0% (rising)
The Apartment Job	JTBC	Mid-run wrap	5.2%

Breaking Down Each Show

Spooky in Love (tvN) This fantasy romantic comedy jumped to a nationwide average of 5.8% for its fourth episode, marking its highest rating yet. Starring Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong, the show has been steadily building momentum since its debut, and this milestone suggests audiences are increasingly hooked on its supernatural love story.

The Husband (KBS 2TV) Heading into its final two weeks, this thriller starring Namkoong Min and Lee Seol climbed to an all-time high of 7.3%. With emotional tension building toward its conclusion, the show is clearly closing out its run on a strong note, drawing more viewers as the story nears its climax.

Love on the Menu (KBS 2TV) Just two episodes in, this new romance drama starring Hani and Ha Seok Jin already posted a solid 13.0% rating — its highest yet. The strong early numbers suggest the show’s slow-burn reunion story and family drama elements are resonating quickly with viewers.

The Apartment Job (JTBC) This crime satire wrapped up the first half of its run with a steady 5.2% average. While not a record-setter in this update, the show has remained a consistent presence on weekly buzz charts, with its ensemble cast — including Ji Sung and Moon So Ri — keeping audiences engaged.

Korean television ratings are typically measured through nationwide viewership surveys that track how audiences engage with primetime programming — you can read more about how TV ratings work on Wikipedia.

Why This Ratings Surge Matters

Three shows hitting personal bests on the same night is a strong signal of how competitive this drama season has become. Whether it’s fresh romances building buzz or long-running thrillers closing strong, Korean broadcasters clearly have plenty to celebrate this weekend.
