Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin and more games get DLSS

This week, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin and The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria are added to the list of recent blockbusters with DLSS support, joining Alan Wake 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare IIICyberpunk 2077: Phantom LibertyDiablo IV and more. 

Bethesda released a Steam beta update of Starfield with DLSS 3 support on November 8th. Also, World of Warcraft players looking forward to The War Within DLC will get NVIDIA Reflex. 

Finally, GeForce Gamers are Game Ready for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Starfield with DLSS 3 with a new Game Ready Driver.

Starfield Steam Beta with DLSS 3

Starfield’s Steam beta update is now available with DLSS Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, Deep Learning Anti-aliasing (DLAA), and NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency, ahead of the update’s official release at a later date. 

DLSS gaming news this week includes:

  • The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria™ is now available with DLSS 2. GeForce RTX gamers can crank settings and enjoy the fastest frame rates thanks to the day-one inclusion of DLSS 2, which increases performance by an average of 2.5X at 4K. 
  • Starfield – Steam beta update now available with DLSS 3, DLAA and Reflex 
  • Desynced– in early access now, a game update arriving November 16th adds support for DLSS 3, multiplying frame rates by 2.2X at 4K, with every setting maxed out.
  • Remnant II – on November 14th The Awakened King DLC arrives. The game supports DLSS 3, DLSS 2, DLAA and Reflex. Using DLSS 3, GeForce RTX 40 Series gamers can multiply frame rates by an average of 3.5X, enabling owners of the GeForce RTX 4070 and faster cards to enjoy the game at max settings at 4K, at over 60 FPS.
  • Earth: Revival – enters open beta on November 16th with DLSS 2 (available in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Japan only)
  • Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin – launches November 17th with DLAA and DLSS 2.

NVIDIA Reflex coming to World of Warcraft: The War Within

At BlizzCon 2023, Blizzard Entertainment announced The Worldsoul Saga, featuring three upcoming expansions for the critically acclaimed massively multiplayer online game, World of Warcraft®. Players will begin their adventure deep beneath the surface in the World of Warcraft: The War Within™ expansion, slated for release in 2024. World of Warcraft: Midnight™ and World of Warcraft: The Last Titan will round out a three-part saga that calls players home to save Azeroth.

NVIDIA Reflex has already reduced system latency for millions of World of Warcraft players, and for those returning to the game for The War Within or entering the world of Azeroth anew, Reflex will provide the best system latency for GeForce RTX owners and will decrease system latency by up to 26% as far back as GeForce GTX 900 Series users.

NVIDIA Reflex is also continuing to see rapid adoption, as World of Warcraft: The War Within joins the list of games that recently added Reflex support including:

  • Alan Wake 2 – Available now With Full Ray Tracing, Reflex & DLSS 3.5
  • Counter-Strike 2 – Available now, over 90% of GeForce RTX Gamers playing with Reflex enabled, and seeing a reduction in system latency by up to 35%
  • RIPOUT – Available now in Early Access, with NVIDIA Reflex and DLSS 3. Reflex reduces system latency by up to 50%, while DLSS 3 accelerates performance by an average of 2.8X at 4K, with max settings and ray tracing enabled.
  • Desynced – A game update arriving November 16th introduces support for Reflex and DLSS 3, reducing system latency by up to 57%, and multiplying frame rates by 2.2X at 4K, with every setting maxed out.
