Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has launched its latest Y series mobile in China in the form of the Vivo Y200i. OriginOS 4, which is anchored on the Android14 operating system, provides the phone with a large 6,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. At its center, the Vivo Y200i is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip with a vector of up to 12 GB of RAM. A 6.72-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate is utilized on the phone. The smartphone boasts a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone port, and an IP64 waterproof rating.

The starting price for the Vivo Y200i is CNY 1,599 for the base 8GB+256GB variant which is around ₹18,800, and the 12GB+256GB model will set the buyers back CNY 1,799 which translates to ₹21,200. Consumers can also go for the top-spec 12GB+512GB version that carries a price tag of CNY 1,999 or around ₹23,500. The buyers will be able to purchase the device starting April 27th from Vivo’s online store In colors like Glacier White, Starry Night, and Vast Sea Blue.
As for specifications, the Vivo Y200i operates on Android 14 with OriginOS 4 interface. It boasts a 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, it offers up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Camera-wise, it features a 50-megapixel primary camera paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the rear, while selfies are handled by an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C. The device also includes stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. With a 6,000mAh battery and support for 44W fast charging, it ensures prolonged usage. Additionally, it boasts an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, measuring 165.70x76x8.09mm and weighing 199g.
