After successful launches in China and Europe, Vivo officially teases the X300 series India debut. Expected in December, both the X300 and X300 Pro feature revolutionary 200MP camera systems with ZEISS optics—setting new photography standards for flagship smartphones.
Table of Contents
Camera Innovation Takes Center Stage
Both devices showcase 200MP sensors in different configurations, marking a significant leap in mobile photography. The X300 positions the 200MP sensor as the primary camera, while the Pro variant places it in the periscope telephoto—an unprecedented approach for maximum versatility.
| Feature | Vivo X300 | Vivo X300 Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Main Camera | 200MP HPB (1/1.4″) | 50MP LYT828 (1/1.28″) |
| Ultra-Wide | 50MP | 50MP |
| Telephoto | 50MP LYT602 periscope | 200MP HPB 85mm periscope |
| Front Camera | 50MP | 50MP |
| Processor | Dimensity 9500 | Dimensity 9500 + V3+ chips |
Professional Photography Kit
The X300 Pro introduces a Photographer Kit sold separately, including a protective case and the ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender. This accessory transforms the already powerful 85mm periscope into an even more capable long-range photography tool, similar to bundled offers in Europe.
Imaging Chip Advantage
The X300 Pro features dual V3+ and VS1 imaging chips alongside MediaTek Dimensity 9500, enabling advanced computational photography, improved low-light performance, and faster image processing. These dedicated chips handle complex photography tasks independently, reducing load on the main processor.
Origin OS 6 Features
Both devices run Origin OS 6 with India-specific features including Flip Cards for quick information access, Vivo Office Kit for productivity, and One-Tap Transfer compatibility with iPhone—simplifying the switch from iOS to Android. The intuitive interface ensures smooth navigation and enhanced multitasking.
Availability and Pricing
The X300 series will be available through Vivo India eStore, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and offline retail stores after the December launch. While exact pricing hasn’t been announced, expect competitive positioning against Oppo Find X9 Pro and OnePlus 15 in the premium segment.
The X300 shown in red and X300 Pro in golden hint at premium design aesthetics, continuing Vivo’s tradition of distinctive flagship styling. Official launch date confirmation should arrive soon as Vivo ramps up promotional activities.
