The Vivo V50 smartphone debuted in India last month, and now Vivo is gearing up to launch the next model in the series, the Vivo V50e. While an official release date is yet to be confirmed, a recent report suggests it’ll be made official by mid-April. Vivo V50e design and specifications details have surfaced online via a microsite on the company’s official website.

Vivo V50e to Launch in India: Quad-Curved Display, Sony Cameras, IP68/69 Revealed
The microsite reveals that the Vivo V50e will be offered in Sapphire Blue and Pearl White variants. Sapphire Blue packs a custom sand-textured back panel, so expect no two designs to be exactly the same. Its design is reminiscent of the Vivo V50, with a camera island hosting an OIS-enabled Sony IMX882 primary sensor, an ultra-wide sensor, and an Aura LED flash. The device is equipped with a Sony Multifocal Pro Portrait system that allows portrait photography at three different focal lengths. A 50MP front camera with eye autofocus is also present, and both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.
The Vivo V50e will feature a quad-curved display with ultra-thin bezels, as per teasers. It should feature IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, and its display will be protected by Diamond Shield Glass and SGS five-star drop-resistance rated. Key AI-powered features showcased on the microsite include image expander, magic eraser, note assist, transcript assist, and Circle to Search. It has an underwater photography mode, adding to its appeal.
Detailed specs will likely be revealed during the launch event. Vivo V50e is rumored to include a 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED panel, Dimensity 7300 SOC, and a 5,600mAh battery with support for 90W charging. Speculations suggest a price set between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000, making the phone competitive with the Vivo V40e, which arrived with a price tag of ₹28,999. The smartphone aims to continue the momentum enjoyed by the V50 series in India’s highly competitive smartphone space with its advanced camera system, durable build, and AI enhancements. Its standing will be clarified soon, as more details emerge.
