Vivo V30 with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and 120Hz AMOLED Display Launched Globally

Vivo secretly debuted the Vivo V30, the company’s newest smartphone in the V series, with specs that are almost identical to the Vivo S18, which was released in China last December. Included are a 50MP autofocus front camera with twin soft LED flash and a 6.78-inch FHD+ 60° curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 2800 nits.

Vivo V30 features and availability

The Qualcomm chipset inside the Vivo phone is built using 4 nm technology and has an octa-core 2.63 GHz CPU and an Adreno 720 GPU. The four Vivo V30 models that are offered are Eight/128 GB, Eight/256 GB, Twelve/256 GB, and Twelve/512 GB.

It runs FuntouchOS 14, an update to Android 14, and is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12GB of RAM.

Both the 50MP ultra-wide and 50MP back cameras on the phone have optical image stabilization. The second 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor’s 119-degree wide angle and focusing enable the capture of wide-angle shots.

With 6.25 times the pixel count of the more widely used 8-megapixel wide-angle model, this spectacular 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera is the first of its kind in the V series with autofocus.

The larger 5,000 mAh battery that supports 80W FlashCharge is one of the main advantages of the Vivo V30 over its predecessor. At just 7.5 mm at the base, it is the thinnest Vivo phone with a power cell of such kind.
