Vivo Y72 5G with Snapdragon 480 5G processor launched in India

Vivo had debuted the Y72 in Thailand in March, now the smartphone brand has finally launched a slightly remodeled version of the device in India. Vivo has added preloaded features such as an Ultra Game Mode and an Esports Mode on the latest model for the gaming enthusiasts out there.

Vivo will release the Vivo Y72 5G in India at a competitive price of 20,990 INR for the single 8GB+!28GB variant. It will come in Prism Magic and Slate grey colour options. This is comparatively cheaper than the Thailand variant of the Y72 that was priced at 22,800 INR which was released with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and a triple-camera setup on the rear.

So what will the specs be in the Vivo Y72 5Gs Indian variant? Vivo will launch the Y72 5G with a 6.58″ Full HD+ IPS display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It will be powered with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC, with 8GB RAM.

The phone will come with a dual-camera and dual-sim setup. The main camera sensor will house a 48MP configuration lens and a 2MP secondary sensor. It will come with an 8MP front camera for selfies.

The Vivo Y72 5G will run on Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11.1, it will have 128GB storage and will support 5G, 4G, LTEM Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.1. It will come with a good 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Vivo Y72 5G will have a range of sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

As mentioned before, the Vivo Y72 5G will retail for a price of 20,990 INR for the 8GB+!28GB variant and is available on Vivo’s official site.
