Vincent Kompany emerges as a surprising leading candidate to take over as the Tottenham boss

Reports state that Vincent Kompany has emerged among the leading candidates for the Tottenham job for managing the club, with concern over Antonio Conte’s departure, who had been in the position recently. The former coach was furious while criticising the players of the club before the international break following Tottenham’s disappointing draw against Southampton in a score of 3-3. This result of the game eventually led to the mutual decision in between both the parties to come to this.

Vincent Kompany being a strong contender for the job

With Tottenham Hotspur currently running without a head coach, the club is in need of a one, with Vincent Kompany becoming a strong contender for the same among many. The chairman of the club, Daniel Levy has already made a contract with Julian Nagelsmann, who got sacked from the same position in Bayern Munich, who primarily made the way for Thomas Tuchel for the club Allianz Arena. Addition to that, Mauricio Pochettino who has been the manager of the club earlier on, has been linked with the job too.

Among the other people who are believed to be in the radar of Daniel Levy are the former Spanish head coach, Luis Enrique, rentford manager Thoma Frank, along with Fulham manager Marco SIlva. However, reports state that Vincent Kompany has emerged as the leading contender for being the boss of Tottenham. Kompany have impressed Levy at the time of his superb campaign being in charge of the Championship leaders, Burnley.
