In patch 2004, Valorant is receiving revitalizing changes. Riot giving Wingman a weapon so he can commit a crime is the realization of every player’s wish. Choose Gekko and keep a small shooter by your side because the new, mind-blowing changes are probably only going to be available in April.
On April 1, Patch 2004 was released, bringing some hilarious but helpful changes to the game. Now, if you’ve been playing the game for a while, you are aware of how tense Gekko’s Wingman kept the players with all of his tricks. Wingman picks up the heavy weapon, Operator, and it appears that the nightmare is coming true.
Here are all the changes in Valorant’s April 1st patch notes:
- Proximity to Brimstone’s beard adds rapid fire
- Valorant e-daters in Ranked will automatically be funneled to a dedicated queue where they can only hear one another’s voice comms
- Jett dash is now cooldown based instead of charge based, and the cooldown is now set to 0.5 seconds
- Suss Teammate Mode: Solo queue with scoreboard and comms turned off
- The use of “Valorant Accent” in voice comms is now automatically translated
- We’ve seen the online banter of which is better: Vandal or Phantom. To make the decision easier, we are removing the Vandal from the shop.
Breeze is the only map that is currently playable after the Valorant patch 2004 eliminated all other maps from the active pool. Additionally, shots fired from the spawn will now also hit the spawn of the enemy. For players who have trouble leaving the spawn after the buy phase, this is especially helpful.
