V-Guard, an Indian consumer electrical and electronics manufacturer, has announced the launch of its Zenair Pro BLDC Ceiling Fan. The new model is positioned to offer energy-efficient cooling alongside smart functionalities for residential and commercial spaces.

The Zenair Pro is equipped with a 34W BLDC motor and carries a BEE 5-Star Energy Rating, indicating reduced electricity consumption compared to conventional fans. It is available at a starting price of ₹3,700.

V-Guard: Performance and Smart Features

The fan’s 34W BLDC motor is designed to provide air delivery of 225 cubic meters per minute (m³/min) at speeds up to 370 RPM. With a 1200 mm sweep, it aims to ensure broad air circulation.

For user control, the Zenair Pro includes a remote control featuring an integrated LED speed indicator. It offers six speed settings and four operational modes:
Sleep Mode: Reduces fan speed for quieter operation.
Breeze Mode: Simulates natural airflow variations.
Boost Mode: Provides maximum airflow.
Reverse Mode: Redistributes warm air during cooler periods.

Additionally, the fan incorporates 4-hour and 8-hour timer options for scheduled operation.

Design and Energy Consumption

The Zenair Pro is available in Matte Brown, White, and Sapphire Blue finishes, designed to complement modern interiors. Construction details include double-shielded ball bearings for smoother operation and durable aluminum blades intended for long-term performance.

The fan’s BEE 5-Star Energy Rating highlights its energy efficiency. This rating signifies that the fan consumes less power than standard induction-motor ceiling fans, potentially leading to lower electricity bills for consumers. This aligns with broader market trends favoring appliances that balance performance with energy conservation. V Ramachandran, Director & Chief Operating Officer, V-Guard Industries Ltd., commented on the launch, stating, “Consumer expectations from everyday appliances are evolving rapidly, with energy efficiency, smart capabilities, and design becoming key decision drivers. At V-Guard, we are aligned to these shifts through continuous innovation. The Zenair Pro strengthens our BLDC portfolio with a solution that combines performance, intelligence, and contemporary aesthetics.”

Availability and Support

The V-Guard Zenair Pro BLDC Ceiling Fan, priced at ₹3,700, can be purchased via major e-commerce platforms and on V-Guard’s official website (https://www.vguard.com/). The product includes a 2-year on-site warranty, supported by V-Guard’s nationwide service network.
