Ajith Kumar’s Dare Devil Locks In Sreeleela and a November 12 Start

Ajith Kumar and Adhik Ravichandran are teaming up again, and the cast list is getting more exciting by the day. Dare Devil now has a confirmed heroine, a firm start date and a composer fans already love.

Speaking to Behindwoods TV, Adhik Ravichandran confirmed that Sreeleela is part of Dare Devil. She joins Parthiban, Prabhu and Sunil, who will share the screen with Ajith. Here’s a fun detail. Adhik says Ajith himself came up with the title Dare Devil, just as he had done with Good Bad Ugly. Ajith also wanted Prabhu in the film, and the director says the two share a strong bond.

Why Hyderabad?

Chennai’s unpredictable weather made planning tricky, so the team decided to shoot the Indian portions in Hyderabad. After that, the crew plans to film in Thailand and Malaysia. The schedule has also shifted slightly. Filming was first expected to begin on November 2, but it now starts on November 12, after Diwali.

Another Ajith and Anirudh Combo

Anirudh Ravichander is on board as composer. That continues a long partnership with Ajith that includes Vivegam, Vedalam and Vidaamuyarchi. Fans will be hoping for another chartbuster album.
