Jamaican runner Usain Bolt is left with just $12,000 and lost all his funds approximately $12 million. His lawyer Linton P. Gorden confirmed that there’s only about $12,000 left in the account and all his retirement savings were gone.
“Anyone would be distressed by this news. This is especially true in the case of Mr. Bolt, who set up this account as part of his private pension.”– Gordon said

The Financial Services Commission of Jamaica said that they already installed their own temporary manager at SSL after the reports of allegations of fraud. Investigations have started into the private firm of Jamaica. After the news got famous, the government received a lot of criticism and a top official was asked to resign after this scandal.
A top official of the Bank of Jamaica has started investigating Stocks and Securities Limited, a firm located in the capital of Kingston.
“There will be full transparency” Finance Minister Nigel Clarke said
“No stone will be left unturned in unearthing exactly how funds were allegedly stolen, who benefited from such theft and who organized and collaborated in this,” he added
The Stocks and Securities Limited informed the higher authorities that the manager was engaged in fraud which initialized the investigation. After a few days, Bolt’s attorneys said that the account balance dipped from $12.8 million to $12,000. The inquiries also suggest that some of the senior clients have been cheated as well as per Finance Minister Nigel Clarke. The commission on January 12 prohibited the company from making any transactions without consent. Bolt’s attorneys further added that they’ll take civil and criminal action if the money isn’t returned by next week.
As per reports, Usain Bolt created an account with SSL in 2012and his last withdrawal was on January 16. He invested under $10 million but now he’s left with $12,000.
