Around a week ago Winfuture revealed that Microsoft is working on comparatively cheaper Surface laptops, some of which were spotted on Geekbench as well. Needless to say, combining both the Geekbench result and reports from the Winfuture, some specs like processor, RAM, and storage details came to the spotlight. Now, the same source, Winfuture, shared the pricing breakups.
As per its report, the base variant of the upcoming Surface laptop will cost $699.99 only and Microsoft is bringing six individual units in this lineup, the difference between two consecutive variants will be $100. That means, pricing of the six variants will be –
- $699.99
- $799.99
- $899.99
- $999.99
- $1,099.99
- $1,199.99
Though the price of the base model is not a small amount, it’s $300 lesser than the 13.5-inch Surface Laptop 3. Let you know, all the six upcoming variants will have the same 12.5-inch display.
Considering the earlier reports, new Surface Laptops will be powered by the Core i5-1035G1 processor. The base model will carry 4GB of RAM paired with 64GB and 128GB storages. Apart from these two, Microsoft will also release 256GB editions with 8GB and 16GB RAMs. The 128GB options will also available.
