About the Film

The official synopsis gives a closer look at the terrifying story:

“When Clover (Ella Rubin) and her friends enter a desolate valley searching for her missing sister, they step into a nightmare beyond imagination. A masked killer hunts them down, ending their lives in brutal, twisted ways—only for them to wake up and relive the same night again. But the terror evolves with every cycle, the killer’s attacks more unpredictable, the stakes deadlier than ever. How many chances do they have left? Can they survive…until dawn?”

The film stars a talented ensemble cast, including Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Odessa A’zion, Ji-young Yoo, Belmont Cameli, Maia Mitchell, and Peter Stormare. The screenplay is written by Blair Butler and Gary Dauberman, promising a gripping horror experience.

What Makes Until Dawn Unique?

Unlike typical horror movies, Until Dawn adds a fresh twist by introducing a time loop. Every time the characters die, they wake up and relive the same terrifying night. But each cycle gets more unpredictable, and the masked killer grows more ruthless. This idea raises the stakes and ensures that no one—neither the characters nor the audience—knows what will happen next.

David F. Sandberg, known for films like Lights Out and Annabelle: Creation, brings his signature style of horror, blending psychological suspense with heart-pounding scares. His ability to create eerie atmospheres and shocking moments makes him the perfect choice to bring this horror game to life.

With its unique concept, eerie atmosphere, and spine-chilling horror, the movie is shaping up to be one of the most thrilling horror films of 2025.
