Season of the Infernal Hordes Coming August 7: New Features and Updates
Wave-Based Infernal Hordes:
This is a new feature that challenges players to survive waves of enemies either solo or with friends. Between waves, you can select Infernal Offerings, which are boons or banes that will augment your run, increasing the enemies’ potency and the final rewards.
Accessible Across Realms:
You can experience the Infernal Hordes on both Realms. On the Seasonal Realm, it is integrated into a Seasonal Questline, while on the Eternal Realm, it becomes accessible after completing a brief new Questline at World Tier III.
The Fell Council:
At the end of each Infernal Hordes run, players will face the Fell Council, consisting of 5 members. Each run will randomly select 3 different members to fight against, each with unique abilities that create various challenging combinations.
Hellbreach Dungeons:
Discover new Hellbreach Dungeons in the Seasonal Realm. These dungeons offer players a first taste of what to expect in Infernal Hordes and reward Burning Aether, which can be used to open chests at the end.
New Uniques and Legendaries:
Over 50 new Uniques and Legendaries are being introduced this season and will persist beyond its end. Earn these powerful items by slaying enemies across Sanctuary and in the Infernal Hordes.
Seasonal Progression:
Collect caches that drop from powerful servants of Hell to unlock Seasonal Progression. Once unlocked, the Infernal Hordes feature becomes one of the best ways to increase your reputation and earn caches throughout the season.
Season Journey and Battle Pass:
Progress through the Season Journey and complete the new Battle Pass, which includes 28 Free Tiers and 62 Premium Tiers, to earn even more rewards at
