Undercover Miss Hong Episode 13 Recap: The Recording That Broke Everything

Song Ju-ran nearly chokes when she discovers that every dollar of the illicit funds funneled into Hong Jang-mi’s account has vanished — and her digging uncovers something far worse beneath the surface. Wikipedia

Geum-bo then unleashes her trump card. She reveals an audio recording of Jung-woo negotiating with DK Ventures to acquire Hanmin Securities — and begins dismantling Chairman Kang’s inner circle piece by piece. Wikipedia

The fallout is swift and brutal. Chairman Kang, furious at Jung-woo’s perceived betrayal, approaches DK Ventures directly and offers a new partnership in exchange for abandoning Jung-woo — who is then forced to resign as president and break off his engagement to Kang No-ra.

But the most emotionally charged scene? No-ra overhears a private exchange between Geum-bo and Jung-woo, uncovering their shared past and the full scope of the undercover scheme — and asks Jung-woo point-blank if he still has feelings for her. He shakes his head, saying he refuses to relive his past mistakes. Wikipedia

Episode 14 Recap: Welcome to the Yeouido Pirates

Episode 14 opens with Jung-woo officially joining the Yeouido Pirates — making him one of the most electrifying late-entry additions to any K-drama team this year. Wikipedia

With Jung-woo on board, the crew immediately sets their sights higher. Geum-bo’s next objective is retrieving the slush fund hidden under No-ra’s name — and the withdrawal of $75 million from a Swiss bank is fully arranged, with No-ra signing the authorization. Wikipedia

The night’s biggest covert move? Bok-hee and Albert break into Song Ju-ran’s personal safe, seizing the bankbooks and official seals — replacing them with counterfeits without anyone noticing. Wikipedia

Why This Show Is Unstoppable Right Now

Since its premiere on January 17, 2026, Undercover Miss Hong entered Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English TV at number 6 in its first week — appearing in the top 10 rankings of 14 countries — before climbing all the way to number 4.

Set against the chaos of the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, the show blends sharp corporate espionage with laugh-out-loud comedy and deeply human relationships — a combination that’s almost impossible to pull off, yet this show makes it look effortless.
