TWICE Just Made YouTube History — Again: “Perfect World” Hits 100 Million Views

TWICE doesn’t just break records — they keep extending their own. The group’s 2021 Japanese title track “Perfect World” has crossed 100 million views on YouTube, adding yet another milestone to what’s already the most dominant catalog run by any girl group on the platform.

TWICE : The Milestone

On September 23 at approximately 8:18 a.m. KST, “Perfect World” officially surpassed 100 million views, becoming TWICE’s 27th full-group music video to hit the mark. That number extends their existing record as the girl group with the most music videos to reach 100 million views on YouTube — a record no other act in the genre currently comes close to matching.

How Long Did It Take?

TWICE first released “Perfect World” on June 30, 2021. Reaching the 100-million milestone took roughly five years, two months, and 24 days — a notably longer climb than some of their faster-charting title tracks, reflecting how catalog depth and long-tail streaming can quietly build toward major numbers over time.

“Perfect World” joins an already extensive lineup of TWICE videos that have crossed the threshold:

Like OOH-AHH, CHEER UP, TT, Knock Knock, Signal, Likey, Heart Shaker, What is Love?, YES or YES, Candy Pop, FANCY, Feel Special, MORE & MORE, I CAN’T STOP ME, TT (Japanese Version), Breakthrough, Alcohol-Free, The Feels, SCIENTIST, Talk that Talk, One More Time, MOONLIGHT SUNRISE, SET ME FREE, Strategy, and THIS IS FOR.

That’s an extraordinary run spanning nearly a decade of releases — from their 2015 debut single all the way through recent comebacks — showing remarkably consistent audience engagement across eras, styles, and even languages (Korean and Japanese title tracks alike).

Why This Matters?

Crossing 100 million views isn’t just a vanity number — it reflects sustained, compounding interest in a group’s catalog long after initial release hype fades. For TWICE, a track from 2021 still pulling in fresh views in 2026 speaks to genuine catalog longevity, something relatively few girl groups achieve at this scale or frequency.

With 27 videos now in the club, TWICE shows no signs of slowing their record-extending pace.
