Twelve Films Deep: “Sniper: No Nation” Locks Its Netflix Streaming Date

The Sniper franchise just won’t quit — and honestly, fans probably wouldn’t want it any other way. Sniper: No Nation, the twelfth installment in the long-running action series, is officially set to hit Netflix US on July 22, 2026, continuing the streamer’s ongoing pipeline of Sony action sequels.

Sniper: No Nation

How It Got Here

Sniper: No Nation isn’t a Netflix original — it originally released on digital on April 7, 2026, and is now arriving on the platform through Netflix’s Pay-1 window agreement with Sony Pictures. That same deal is responsible for bringing major theatrical titles like Spider-Man to Netflix, but it also covers Sony’s direct-to-video slate, which is how the Sniper franchise keeps finding its way onto the service.

This marks the fourth Sniper film Netflix has picked up under the Sony deal, following Sniper: Rogue Mission, Sniper: G.R.I.T. – Global Response Intelligence Team, and 2025’s Sniper: The Last Stand. Under the terms of the agreement, Sony titles typically stay on Netflix for 18 months, meaning No Nation will remain streamable through January 2028.

What’s The Story This Time?

When a covert operation in the fictional Costa Verde spirals into an international scandal, the U.S. government disavows the Global Response & Intelligence Team, branding its own operatives as terrorists. Ace sniper Brandon Beckett goes AWOL, only to discover his remaining allies have been decimated by a ruthless mercenary force working for Costa Verde’s corrupt prime minister.

With his fellow soldiers imprisoned and facing execution, Brandon reunites with his father, Thomas Beckett, longtime ally Agent Zero, and a small group of rebels for an off-the-books rescue mission — operating, as the film puts it, without a flag, without backup, and without mercy.

Sniper joins a long line of direct-to-video military action franchises that have built loyal followings through steady, low-budget sequels, a business model that has become a defining feature of home entertainment action cinema, as outlined on Wikipedia.

Who’s In It

The film features Chad Michael Collins as Brandon Beckett, Ryan Robbins as Agent Zero, and Tom Berenger returning as Thomas Beckett, alongside Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz, Josh Brener, Sizo Mahlangu, Masasa Mbangeni, Jason K. Ralph, and Danica Jones rounding out the cast.

Reviews so far are mixed, with the film currently sitting at 4.1/10 on IMDb based on a limited number of ratings — not unusual territory for a franchise well past its tenth entry.
