Riding this unprecedented success, Netflix confirmed the highly awaited sequel, Troll 2, is set to premiere globally on December 1, 2025. Fans of Nordic folklore and thrilling monster adventures have a lot to look forward to as the saga continues.

What Is Troll 2 About?

Directed again by Roar Uthaug (The Wave, Tomb Raider), Troll 2 dives deeper into the mythology of Norse trolls with bigger scale and stakes. After waking up following centuries of slumber beneath the mountains, a dangerous new troll launches a rampage across Norway.

The story follows heroes Nora, Andreas, and Captain Kris as they face their most perilous adventure yet. With the clock ticking and chaos spreading, they must enlist new allies and uncover ancient secrets to stop the monster before Norway falls to darkness.
