Tottenham vs Liverpool Thriller: Salah and Díaz Shine in Dominanance Over Tottenham

Liverpool extended their Premier League lead to four points with a spectacular 6-3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in what became one of the season’s most entertaining matches.

Tottenham vs Liverpool: Match Summary

First Half Dominance

Luis Díaz opened the scoring with a diving header from Trent Alexander-Arnold’s beautiful cross in the 23rd minute. The Reds doubled their advantage through Alexis Mac Allister’s close-range header before James Maddison pulled one back for Spurs. However, Dominik Szoboszlai restored Liverpool’s two-goal cushion in first-half stoppage time, sending the visitors into the break with a commanding 3-1 lead.

Salah’s Clinical Second Half

Mohamed Salah netted twice within seven minutes, passing Liverpool legend Billy Liddell on the club’s all-time scoring list to make it 5-1. The Egyptian King’s 14th and 15th league goals of the season showcased why he remains one of the Premier League’s deadliest finishers.

Despite late goals from Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke giving Tottenham hope, Díaz sealed the victory with his second goal in the 85th minute.
