Top 10 most valuable Serie A clubs based on market value

The Serie A has never lacked attracting the star players and payment of huge sums for talented footballers to grace the league.

Here, we take a look at the Italian football league and how the clubs in it stack up based on their overall market values:

10) Torino – €162.9 million

One of the quintessential top half sides, Torino are nowhere near their derby city rivals Juventus. However, they do have a decent side capable of performing on the day and have a few talented players like Andrea Belotti, Armando Izzo and Simone Verdi who are among the highly rated ones.

Probably the most improved team so far, they have a mix of good experienced and youth players. Led by Francesco Caputo and the likes of Jeremy Boga and Domenico Berardi as their most valuable players.

8) Fiorentina – €250.2 million

They have recently gone on a streak of buying older players in their final years, which has seen a slight decline in their figures. Nevertheless, Fiorentina are always up there challenging for the Europa League spots.

7) Roma – €337.25 million

Once a giant in Italian football, Roma have been resigned to playing Europa League in recent times. Having lost players like De Rossi and Manolas of late, they have invested in young players and developed academy talent who are worth millions in the present era.

Always the most efficient spenders, Napoli backed it up with an Italian cup win last season. Holding onto valuable footballers such as Koulibaly and Insigne, they were able to financially add on Victor Osimhen to their ranks and are currently fifth in the league.

2) Inter Milan – €655.50 million

The nearest challengers for the league crown, Inter have been able to sufficiently supplement their squad with some experienced and upcoming players. However, everything has not gone as per plan this season and so Inter will need to buck up their ideas this season.

Always the title favourites, Pirlo’s men have the best squad in the Serie A and have always been able to identify deals for good players at cheaper prices. Even this season, they have the likes of Ronaldo, Dybala and De Ligt who are capable of adding value to any squad in the world.
