LaLiga is considered to have a more technical style of play compared to the Premier League where physical players are more suited to play.

The Spanish league has an abundance list of good passers or probably the best passers of the game. Barcelona captain Lionel Messi and his teammates Sergio Busquests and Frenkie De Jong; Real Madrid’s midfield duo Toni Kroos and Luka Modric; Sevilla’s Ever Banega; Atletico Madrid’s Saul and Koke are some of the best passers of the game.

But who has been the most effective passer in LaLiga in the 2019-20 season?

Marca has answered this question. Toni Kroos is the most effective passer of LaLiga this season.

Only Barcelona’s Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets have attempted more passes than the German midfielder in Spain’s top tier this campaign, but the Real Madrid midfielder has better accuracy.

Toni Kroos has completed 2,184 of his 2,336 passes, giving him a passing accuracy of 93.49 %, which is ahead of Pique’s 91.75 % and Busquets’ 89.66 %.

Only Casemiro has played more minutes than Kroos this season, with the Brazilian racking up a total of 3,991 compared to the German’s 3,479.

In terms of direct goal contributions, Kroos has scored six and set up nine for Real Madrid in 44 appearances in all competitions this season.

Toni Kroos joined Real Madrid from Bayern Munich in 2014 after winning the World Cup with Germany. He has been an excellent performer for Real Madrid over the six years. He has won 2 LaLiga titles and 3 Champions League trophy playing at the Santiago Bernabeu till now.
