Tiger Shroff Teams Up With Suniel Shetty For Action Thriller

In an exciting development for Indian cinema, acclaimed actor Suniel Shetty has joined Tiger Shroff in an upcoming action thriller produced by Murad Khetani under the Cine1 Studios banner. This marks a significant collaboration between two generations of action cinema, bringing together Tiger’s athletic prowess with Suniel’s commanding screen presence.

The yet-untitled film will be directed by Kannada filmmaker Sachin Ravi, marking his highly anticipated directorial debut in Hindi cinema. With pre-production already underway, the film is scheduled to begin principal photography on April 10, 2026, in Mumbai, with sets being constructed in Malad and Goregaon.

The Director and Production Team

Sachin Ravi brings distinctive storytelling sensibilities from Kannada cinema to this high-concept Hindi project. Previously known for his work on Avane Srimannarayan, a acclaimed 2019 cop entertainer featuring Rakshit Shetty, Ravi has earned recognition for visually driven, high-energy filmmaking. His Hindi cinema debut comes after an earlier ambitious project, Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues, starring Shahid Kapoor, was shelved due to budgetary constraints.

The film’s dialogues are being crafted by Sumit Arora, a writer known for his work on blockbusters like Jawan and Border 2. Arora brings expertise in creating mass-appealing dialogue that resonates across diverse audiences. Backing the project is producer Murad Khetani, whose track record includes producing modern blockbusters such as Animal, Kabir Singh, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, providing substantial commercial credibility to the venture.

An international action team of reputed standing has been enlisted to choreograph the film’s high-octane sequences, ensuring world-class execution of action sequences.

Production Timeline and Schedule

The film is scheduled to begin principal photography on April 10, 2026, with an estimated production timeline extending through July 2026. Based on the current schedule, the film is expected to release in December 2026, contingent on the shooting progressing smoothly. Any delays in the production schedule could potentially impact the release date.

The production will utilize specially constructed sets across Mumbai, with extensive portions of the film shot in controlled environments at Malad and Goregaon facilities. This approach allows for optimized production management and specialized action choreography.

Cast and Character Details

While details of Suniel Shetty’s character remain tightly under wraps, sources indicate his character will play a pivotal role in driving the film’s intense narrative. The pairing has been described by industry insiders as “a meeting of two distinct action sensibilities,” suggesting complementary but different approaches to action cinema.

Suniel Shetty’s Career Context
