What’s It About?

They Will Kill You follows Asia Reaves, an ex-convict who answers a help-wanted ad to work as a housekeeper at the Virgil — a mysterious New York City high-rise — not realising she is entering a community that has seen a number of disappearances over the years. Wikipedia

What starts as a simple job quickly spirals into a blood-soaked fight for survival. After abandoning her younger sister Maria a decade before, Asia tracks down her long-lost sibling at the building, which has a dark history of the help going missing. The cult living within the Virgil’s walls has plans — and Asia isn’t about to be their next offering.

Think Ready or Not meets Kill Bill, set in a luxury high-rise, and you’re roughly in the right territory.

Full Cast

Zazie Beetz leads as Asia Reaves, Myha’la plays her estranged sister Maria, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette round out the ensemble — each delivering a distinctly unhinged performance as members of the cult.

Arquette’s character Lily, the building’s Irish superintendent, is already being called a scene-stealer. Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy to a generation of fans) playing a wealthy, sinister tenant named Kevin is the kind of casting that practically writes its own fan reaction.
