Netflix has dropped the trailer of the French horror film named The Swarm. It is an incredible horror movie that does not belong to the average horror film. It becomes paced slower and also a little darker. It is the upcoming Netflix horror flick.
The story of the film is based on a single mother named Virginie who has begun their edible locusts just like a high protein crop in order to rescue her farm which is failing. The woman has to work very hard in between the bugs, bills piling up, her children Laura and Goston, and also her trouble-making neighbors. The situations become changes suddenly after she discovers that the locusts know the test of blood.
It is definitely frightening that the swarm has a thirst for blood, but the trailer indicates that Virginie would not be as frightened as she should be. It seems to be a kind of bond between a farmer and her brood. After she comes to know that the bugs are feeding with the red stuff that she is pouring literal buckets of blood to them. Now the main query is she feeding them or training them.

The trailer has shown some stunning features which are included with a decent bit of blood. It seems that the horror thriller is focusing more on its existential dread than the gallons of gore. It is the first film that has been directed by Just Philippot. it was debuted in the Film Festival of Angouleme in France, in August 2020 and was nominated for the Audience Award and Critics at the Gerardmer International Fantastic Film Festival 2021.
