The Remarried Empress Sets November Premiere, Drops First Teaser

The wait for one of this year’s most anticipated K-drama adaptations finally has an end date. The Remarried Empress, based on the hit web novel of the same name, has confirmed its premiere for November 4 and released its first teaser alongside a set of character posters.

A Love Triangle Fit for an Empire

The story follows Navier, the seemingly perfect empress of the Eastern Empire, whose marriage unravels when her husband Sovieshu falls for a runaway slave named Rashta. After their divorce, Navier finds an unexpected second chapter with Heinrey, the prince of a rival Western kingdom.

The new teaser leans into that emotional collapse, tracing how Sovieshu’s devotion to Navier fades as his feelings for Rashta deepen — even after once vowing she’d always be his only wife. Navier, for her part, doesn’t fight to keep the marriage together; when Sovieshu asks for a divorce, she meets it with composure rather than protest, setting up her transformation in the story’s second half.

Character Posters Set the Stage

Alongside the teaser, individual character posters gave each lead a defining line. Navier requests approval for her own remarriage, Sovieshu confirms his decision to end things with the empress, Heinrey makes a striking first impression as he’s introduced to the story, and Rashta’s poster hints that her fortunes are very much on the rise.
