The Paradise Box Office Collections: Nani starrer comes down on weekdays significantly, Gross Rs. 113 Cr in 6 days

Big openings can hide weak legs, and Nani’s The Paradise is a clear example. The film collected roughly Rs 4.50 crore gross on Tuesday, a 25 per cent drop from Monday. Compared with its opening day, business is now under 10 per cent, which Pinkvilla’s trade analysis calls a poor hold. The six-day total stands at about Rs 113.25 crore gross, and the extended first week is headed toward Rs 120 crore.

How the Days Looked ?

The film opened with a huge Rs 49.75 crore on Thursday. It then settled at Rs 17.50 crore on both Friday and Saturday and Rs 18.25 crore on Sunday, which shows the weekend held up reasonably well. Then came the weekday fall, with Rs 5.75 crore on Monday and Rs 4.50 crore on Tuesday. The analysis says this kind of decline was expected given the reports the film received.

The Paradise: Nizam Holds Better Than Andhra

Regional numbers tell an even clearer story. The film is doing a little better in Nizam, where its six-day total is about Rs 50.75 crore. Andhra, in contrast, has dropped to very low collections. Overall, AP/TS accounts for around Rs 88.25 crore, with Karnataka at Rs 10.50 crore, Tamil Nadu and Kerala together at Rs 4 crore, and the rest of India at Rs 10.50 crore.

Where Will It End?

The trade expects Nizam to close a little under Rs 60 crore. Pinkvilla calls that an excellent number for a Tier 2 starrer when viewed in isolation from the pre-release expectations. That’s an important caveat. The film’s early buzz set a high bar, and the gap between expectation and result is what makes the weekday numbers look so weak.

Why This Matters?

It’s a reminder that star power can carry an opening, but word of mouth decides the run. Nani has built a reputation as a dependable box office draw, and this film still delivers a strong total in absolute terms. The next few days will show whether the numbers stabilise or slide further.
