The OnePlus Pad promotion image reminds us of Surface Pro

Well, it’s no hiding that tomorrow OnePlus Pad will be announced at the Cloud 11 event scheduled to take place in Delhi. Prior to that, almost all details were leaked about OnePlus’s first tablet and now the recent promotional materials show how the new OnePlus Pad with keyboard looks almost like a Surface Pro.

In that green color, the OnePlus Pad looks fantastic and the matching keyboard complements it soo well. Even the stylus that will be supplied with the tablet in the box gives it a premium appeal and the total thing looks almost identical to a Surface Pro.

OnePlus Pad Specifications

OnePlus Pad will sport an 11.6-inch 2.8K LCD panel, not OLED, quite strange but with a high 144Hz refresh rate with HDR10+ & Dolby vision support. The interesting thing about this OnePlus Pad is that OnePlus is going in direct competition against the iPad Air, thanks to the flagship Dimensity 9000 SoC it is estimated to sport.

This is accompanied by 8GB/12GB RAM alongside various 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options, as confirmed in the teasers, there will be a single 13MP rear camera and 8MP front shooter. Obviously, being an Android tablet, this new android tablet will feature the latest Android 13 aka OxygenOS 13, which could be tweaked a bit for the tablet.

On top of this, this tablet will sport a huge 9,500mAh battery which should be enough to power through the day and can be fast-charged with a 67W adapter. Apart from all this, OnePlus seems to provide a new experience to its fans and launch a premium tablet in India.
