The Mithai Masterclass: Learn Easy, No-Cook Festive Sweets This September

Nothing says festive season quite like a box of mithai landing on your table — ladoos, barfis, pedas, kaju katli, and suddenly everyone’s reaching for “just one more.” If you’ve ever saved a mithai recipe reel with grand plans of making it yourself, only to abandon the idea the moment you see a long list of steps, this event was made for you.

Organized by the LG Life Genius Community, The Mithai Masterclass is a festive cook-along built around two simple, no-cook mithai creations that put a fresh spin on old favourites. Delhi-based creator Shruti Mahajan will guide guests through both recipes using easy-to-follow steps and everyday ingredients, making it approachable even for complete beginners in the kitchen.

The session also highlights the LG Double Door Refrigerator as part of the festive prep experience. Its 25.3 L Fresh Zone keeps ingredients fresh and organized, while Smart Mode and Multi Air Flow maintain consistent cooling throughout the kitchen. Add in Frost Free convenience, a Smart Inverter Compressor, and Auto Smart Connect, and festive cooking becomes noticeably less stressful.

The real appeal here isn’t perfection — it’s the experience. Learning something new, putting a modern twist on a nostalgic favourite, and getting to taste your own creation at the end makes for a genuinely fun afternoon, especially with friends or family in tow.

The Mithai Masterclass: Event Details

Mithai remains one of India’s most cherished culinary traditions, forming a central part of festive celebrations across the country, much like the broader cultural role of Indian sweets in marking seasonal and religious occasions.
