And now when the time has arrived they couldn’t be happier. However, the viewers who have already completed season 2, are thinking “What if there is another season?”.

Well, no one can deny the possibility of that. But in the middle of processing the last season and wondering about the next season, it will be good to have a deep look at The Last Of Us Season 2.

If you are here for that, then let’s jump to our article right away without any further delays.

The Last Of Us Season 2

The Last of Us Season 1 has just finished and viewers have already begun thinking about the next season. However, till now there is not even one announcement about the The Last Of Us Season 2.

And that is completely understandable, well you see, that HBO has this habit of keeping at least two years gap between its biggest shows. Previously we all have witnessed this with the House of the Dragon and Westworld.

So, we can say that it seems like we have to wait for a while till we get to watch the next season of the show. However, this doesn’t mean that we can’t even talk about the story of Joel and Ellie and how it can take turns in The Last of Us Season 2.

Well, as you may already know this show is an adaption of the popular video game franchise The Last Of Us. Now, as the first season was themed on the first part of the game. So we can say that The Last Of Us Season 2 will be based on the second part of the game franchise.

Hence if we are to talk about The Last Of Us Season 2 show adaption we should look for the game for some clues. Well, in the second part of the game, we see Joel facing the consequences of his actions.

The Last Of Us Season 2 will be very much centred around the hatred that is now between the two main characters. In the game there was a time interval between the two parts, however there were some flashbacks of the past in the present.

So, in the game, we did know what had happened in the past years. But this is a tricky part about The Last Of Us Season 2 because we don’t know how HBO is going to present this time interval.

We are certain that there will be time intervals, but do we get glimpses of past years or not? Or in what order HBO is going to adapt the story of the game for its show? So, we can only find out about these things when there is an official announcement.
