Why Did It Get Shelved?

In a candid chat with Behindwoods, Vignesh Shivan revealed that working with Ajith Kumar was his dream, but the film was dropped due to budget and production issues. The production team also suggested altering the second half of the story.

KGF

What stings the most? The director cited KGF as his inspiration, noting that director Prashanth Neel had Hombale Films fully backing his vision. Vignesh had watched films like KGF and RRR and wanted to direct a similarly grand project with Ajith, but the production couldn’t match the budget he had envisioned.
