“The Husband” Poster Hints at a Marriage Built on Fear and Secrets

A new thriller poster just dropped, and it’s already unsettling fans before the first episode even airs. KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama The Husband has unveiled its main poster, and it sets a chilling tone for what’s coming.

The Husband stars Namkoong Min as a man on the brink of divorce who unexpectedly gets pulled into a desperate fight with a dangerous criminal to rescue his wife, and the new poster makes one thing clear — this marriage is far from safe.

The Husband: Overview

A Poster Dripping with Tension

The poster hints at the precarious, complicated dynamic between spouses Kang Tae Joo and Go Se Yoon, whose deeply troubled marriage is falling apart. The imagery is deliberately unsettling: Kang Tae Joo appears to embrace his wife from behind, but his hand is wrapped menacingly around her throat, while she remains frozen in shock and terror.

Adding to the unease, the shadow of a mysterious figure wielding a dangerous weapon looms behind the couple, raising the stakes even further. The poster’s caption reads, “The most likely suspect is… me, the husband,” directly tying into the kidnapping plot at the heart of the story.

What the Makers Are Saying

The production team explained they wanted to visually capture the precarious relationship, suspicion, and fear entangling a married couple still wearing their wedding rings. They teased the central mystery further, asking what secret Kang Tae Joo is hiding related to the kidnapping, and what the dark shadow threatening the couple really means.
