There is good news coming out from the Huawei, as the head of the Consumer Business Group of Huawei, Richard Yu, recently announced at Huawei Developer Conference in China, that they want to introduce its new flagship series of smartphones – Huawei Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro soon. The UK branch of Huawei tweeted that the next generation Huawei Mate series would disclose soon.
According to the source, Huawei may be introduced its new flagship series with the World’s first and only 5G capable SoC on 5 nanometer Scale – it indicates a new Kirin Chip, which Huawei was capable to produce at TSMC as the last line-up before yesterday’s cut-off as part of the US section.
It is expected that ‘Kirin 9000’ may be traded off the SoC of the upcoming Mate series. This Kirin chipset may also have an onboard 5G modem. But there is no official confirmation about this topic. But it is predicted that Huawei will disclose this series officially in mid-October 2020.
Roland Quandt has posted a picture pointing at the Mate series’s signature circular rear camera bezel evolving into a kind of virtual click wheel that can able to adjust settings such as audio volume. According to the image (posted by Roland), the new flagship series may come with a similar design as its predecessor Mate 30 series smartphones. The Mate 40 series smartphones will feature a dual selfie camera.
According to the rumors, the Mate 40 Pro will be launched with a powerful rear camera, a batter battery life with a high charging speed than the previous series handsets. Also most importantly, the phone will be supported by a 5G network and powered by a 5nm flagship chipset.
We are devoid of any other info about this upcoming Mate 40 series smartphones. Huawei is expected to introduce its new flagship Mate 40 series smartphones in mid-October, but it can clearly be assumed that the smartphones of this series will be there until 2021.
