The Final Countdown: When Does The Husband Wrap Up Its Kidnapping Thriller?

Ten episodes of guilt, suspicion, and a wife who vanished the day after a divorce demand — The Husband is finally headed toward its finish line. With Kang Tae-ju’s world still unraveling and Ko Se-yun’s kidnapping case far from resolved, fans are counting down to the last two episodes.

Starring Namkoong Min as neurosurgeon Kang Tae-ju and Lee Seol as his estranged wife Ko Se-yun, the KBS2 thriller has spent ten episodes tangling police suspicion, hospital secrets, and a kidnapper with a personal vendetta into one slow-burning mystery.

The Husband : Finale Release Details

Where The Story Left Off

Episode 10 delivered one of the show’s most emotional beats yet: after weeks of tension, deception, and near-misses, Tae-ju and Se-yun finally shared a tearful reconciliation at home. But with kidnapper Noh Man-hee still on the loose and the truth behind his vendetta only partially uncovered, that reunion feels far from safe.

Recent episodes have also deepened the mystery around Dr. Ha’s death, Kyung-ae’s murky connections to Man-hee, and Se-yun’s quiet investigation into her own father’s possible involvement in the abduction. With so many threads still dangling, the final two episodes have a lot of ground to cover — expect confrontations, revelations about the stem cell project subplot, and a resolution to Man-hee’s motives.

What To Expect From The Finale

Given the show’s pacing, the finale is likely to bring:

• A direct confrontation between Tae-ju and Noh Man-hee
• Clarity on Dr. Ko’s role in the kidnapping plot
• Resolution of the Kyung-ae subplot and her connection to Man-hee
• An answer to whether Tae-ju and Se-yun’s marriage survives the ordeal

For a weekend drama built on slow-burn tension, The Husband has consistently rewarded patient viewers with sharp twists rather than easy answers — and the finale is expected to follow that same pattern rather than wrap things up too neatly.
